Abstract
The Defence Scientific Information Service (DSIS) has designed and implemented an automated Bibliographic Data Update (BIBDAT) system in order to maintain an effective data base from which to supply the defence community with up-to-date announcements of scientific and technical reports. This report describes the BIBDAT master bibliographic file print program XMAFIP. The program functions and logic are given as well as general and detailed flowcharts. The XMAFIP input and output files and record specifications are defined and examples are given. A program listing, glossary of terms and references are also included.
