Abstract
It is anticipated that with the proposed new 3-D radars, repairs of a complex nature requiring highly skilled maintenance staff will arise infrequently. DEEM has formulated a maintenance concept whereby such repairs could be carried out by a limited number of mobile maintenance repair teams. In this note, alternative ways of describing the level of support are postulated, and their effect on the choice of the number of repair teams is discussed.
