Abstract
The simulator has been designed for evaluating the vulnerability of certain military radars to the type of electronic jamming known as "RANGE GATE PULL OFF". It produces, therfore, a false target pulse which appears at a precise time after the reception of a trigger pulse. The false target can be programmed manually from the instrument front panel or by a computer via a rear panel connector, such that it moves from one specific point to another according to a certain velocity or acceleration after remaining at the former point for a desired dwell time.
