Abstract
Using a deconvolution technique developed for acoustic waveforms from explosive charges contaminated by surface energy from previous work done under contract for Dr. R. Chapman of DREP, source level estimates were calculated for 0.82 kg SUS charges detonated at nominal depths of 18, 90, and 180 m. Source level estimates are presented in 1/3 octave bands from 5-630 Hz. In addition to determining source levels for each shot waveform, cummulative average source levels along with the average depth for each of the three depths sets were determined. Also each of the three depth sets were organized by explosion depth into subsets to determine source level depth dependency within each group.
