Abstract
The Incremental Lifting Machine (ILM) test being considered as a Canadian Forces recruit screening device, is essentially a modified stack lifting device. The objective of the research described in this report was to evaluate the ILM hardware and test protocol and to suggest modifications to enhance the prediction of lifting performance.
