Abstract
The dependence of the glass transition temperature (T sub g) of a commercially available poly(amideimide), Torlon_ 4203, on the weight % absorbed water has been investigated using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The DSC results indicated that the diffusion of water from the sample had a major effect on correlations between T sub g and % absorbed water.
