Abstract
The contract work involved the development, verification and assessment of specialized instrumentation required on conducting meaningful experiments of non-ideal shock- and blast-wave flows in air with airborne dust and air with airborne moisture. This work can conveniently be catagorized into the following tasks: Task 1: light extinctiometer, Task 2: beta-ray densitometer, Task 3: simultaneous two-phase flow measurements, Task 4: relaxation structure of shock and blast waves.
