Abstract
This is the final report of Phase II of the program "Development of Fire Protective Coatings for Fibre Reinforced Plastics Using Plasma Deposition Technology". The overall objective of the program is to develop the plasma spray technology for developing thermal barrier coatings to improve the fire protection of GRP materials. Phase II of the program was initiated in May 1989 to develop the plasma spray technology of applying ceramic based coatings on to glass reinforced polymeric materials and to improve their adhesion and fire protection properties.
