Abstract
In this paper, bronzes obtained by thermal decomposition of the mixed phases (NH4)x K4-x V6O16+y were studied. The amount of alkali metal present was altered to form new stoichiometries which may behave as secondary cathode materials. This paper discusses the electrochemical insertion of Li(+) into KxV6O13+y bronzes with various K/V and O/V ratios.
