Abstract
The hydrazine-air fuel cell is a candidate for northern operations as a new power source. The logistics for fuel and electrolyte requirements for this system were studied, making assumptions of the number of units of various sizes between 60W and 40kW. It is recommended that Arctic trials of the system be carried out, and that a cost analysis is required before selecting an actual plant location.
