Abstract
The US/AFRPL Axial Mode Stability Code has been updated and modified. The modifications include printer plots of mean flow velocity, velocity perturbation, flow area and pressure perturbation along the motors examined. Also included is a changed input format and streamlining, to make changes in data input straightforward. The reasons for undertaking axial mode, linear instability calculations are given, the methods for operating the code provided, discussion of the results outlined, benchmark comparisons with accepted test cases made and conclusions and recommendations supplied.
