Abstract
Production and sintering of cone-shaped powder compacts are discussed in this report. Copper, iron and tungsten-nickel-copper powders were compacted at different energy levels using a high velocity rate compaction press and the resulting compacts were sintered in flowing dry hydrogen at appropriate temperatures.
