- Abstract
- The battery which was developed at DREO is capable of continuous operation at a beacon current drain of 140 mA for a minimum of 18 hours over the whole temperature range and is estimated to have a shelf life beyond five years. Storage up to 150F is possible. The principal methods, materials and equipment required to produce the AN/URT-503 Beacon battery are described.
