Abstract
The paper describes a pneumatic method for the regulation and measurement of the composition of a binary gas mixture. It consists of a series combination of a nonlinear viscous pneumatic resistor (e.g., an elongated capillary tube) and a linear pneumatic resistor (e.g., a porous membrane) connected between a binary gas source and a gas sink with a measuring or regulating element responsive to pressure at the junction between the two resistors.
