Abstract
An apparatus has been constructed for the study of equilibrium bubble size for the purpose of understanding the pre-existence of gas bubbles in the physiological body. The hypothesis to be examined is whether several bubbles in a closed system will evolve to a common and mutually stable size. The apparatus has successfully been tested for the generation of bubbles, the procedures for their evoluation and the procedure for merging bubbles.
