Abstract
The "GARFIELD" methodology provides a simple way of quantitatively comparing the vulnerability of ground attack aircraft profiles. For a given aircraft versus defensive site interaction, "GARFIELD" determines the number of missile firing opportunities for a surface-to-air missile and an estimate of the expected number of rounds to hit the target for anti-aircraft artillery.
