Abstract
The radiofrequency radiation (RFR) safety ot two Canadian Forces manpack transceivers (AN/PRC-515 and AN/PRC-77) has been studied by a university contractor. The note explains the relationship of his study to current thinking in the field of RFR safety, summarizes his main findings, and applies them to DND operations. It is concluded that both transceivers are safe under all practical conditions.
