Abstract
The purpose of the report is to summarize the main findings of research at DCIEM in the area of inner ear decompression sickness in deep diving environments. From these observations, a plausible theory has been developed which explains many of the results that were obtained. Furthermore, interpretation of the results suggests what procedures constitute acceptable therapeutic treatment for the successful management of inner ear decompression sickness.
