Abstract
A C10 sub 2 generator capable of producing a flow of C10 sub 2 in inert diluent gas has been constructed using an adaptation of a design appearing in the literature. The generator supplies C10 sub 2 in concentrations up to 4% in helium or other inert gases at a flow rate of 0.18 mmol/s. C1 sub 2 in important concentration is not present in the effluent gas; the effluent gas is, however, moist, due to water in the NaC10 sub 2 charge in the column.
