COMPUTED ABSORPTION COEFFICIENT FOR C02 LASER TRANSITIONS

Abstract
Formulas are given for computing the equilibrium absorption coefficient at line-center of the CO2 laser transitions as a function of pressure, gas mix, temperature and wavelength. APL 360 computer programs are also listed for computation of the absorption coefficient, and comparisons are made with experiment.
