Abstract
The report covers the analysis of problems related to high frequency signal component extraction from a near d.c. base pressure signal, and it offers 2 solutions of which the first one has been tested to a certain degree. Both of these solutions have in common the use of piezotron impedance converters located near the piezoelectric transducers, in order to reduce induced noise. The first approach then looks at a gated d.c. amplifier, while the second one employs a high pass amplifier obtained from a near d.c. charge amplifier by shortening its time constant. Experimental results and the initial instrumentation parameter calculations are also included. Recommendations for future tests conclude the report.
