Abstract
HLLSRF is a system for representing ship hulls for use in computer programs. One of the features of the HLLSRF system is the ability to define a new hull by modifying an existing hull representation; the new hull is specified by a file which lists the differences of the new hull from its parent. The program MODHLL generates new HLLSRF hulls from existing ones using this method. MODHLL allows changes to the station numbering, the unit of length used, the length, breadth, depth, and draft, and the propeller disk. In addition, MODHLL allows changes in hull form by a method similar to that of Lackenby whereby stations may be moved systematically in order to achieve specified values of the prismatic coefficients. This document is a user's guide for Version 2.0 of the program MODHLL.
