Abstract
The report outlines CANAERO-T, an unsteady potential flow panel method for calculating the flow around, and forces and moments on, complex configurations such as a fully-submerged submarine. CANAERO-T is a development of the steady-state CANERO code which has been in use at DREA for a number of years. Examples are given of wings, a propeller, and an idealised submarine configuration undergoing impulsively started and harmonically oscillating motions. An input description and example input files are included in the Appendices.
