Abstract
The NATO Reference Mobility Model (NRMM) is a computer model, which is designed to be used to predict the mobility of military vehicles in varying terrain conditions. Since its acquisition in 1981, there has been an interest within the Department of National Defence to fully establish its applicability to Canadian natural environments. Eventually, the model could figure strongly in strategic planning, acquisition and life cycle management of vehicles for the Canadian military.
