Abstract
One of the most interesting studies in the chemotherapy of cancer is the preparation and testing of purine derivatives. Some of these compounds exhibit highly selective toxicity for neoplastic tissues. These compounds are discussed along with the antifolic acid agents and others as possible therapeutic agents for acute leukemia.
