Abstract
Introduces a terminology which permits comparison of different rundown and repetitative pulse-power systems; and gives values of the defined parameters for selected existing Ni-Cd and hydrox systems. The special requirements of the Energy Storage subsystem, as well as those of the Switching/Shaping subsystem, and of the Energy-Infusion (electricity for the battery, chemicals for the fuel cell) subsystem, are discussed. Guidelines for development are offered. A forecast is given.
