Abstract
The goal of the present work is a better understanding of the mechanism of thermal decomposition of the oxides themselves, i.e. without stabilizing ligands. In this paper are reported: Part I - a start on a method of characterizing chemically-prepared AgO, both from the theoretical and experimental standpoints; and Part II - some new information on preparation and properties of anodically formed wet "Ag2O3".
