Abstract
Computer programs have been developed for the generation of single-block three-dimensional structured grids about arbitrary geometries.Elliptic methods are employed to generate grids in two- and three-dimensional regions as well as grids constrained to arbitrary surfaces. Grids are presented for an O-grid and a C-grid about an airfoil sectionin two-dimensions; for the surface of a marine propeller in three-dimensions; and for complete three-dimensional configurations within a duct, about a blunt body, about a ship hull, and about a wing.
