Abstract
Avizafone is a water soluble anticonvulsant. The product was fielded during the Gulf war in an autoinjector (MediMech, UK) configuration at a concentration of 15 mg/mL and a 1.0 mL volume. This report details the analytical procedure and the results of the analysis of 48 autoinjectors (manufactured on Jan 6, 1991) which had been stored at 4C for at least 13 months (analysed on Feb 12, 1992). All autoinjectors were still within specifications and had a nominal concentration of 16.62 + 1.0 mg/mL.
