Abstract
In the fall of 1990, a National Survey of Canadian attitudes toward the Reserves was conducted on behalf of Chief of Reserves and Cadets. This report is the first in a series which will provide detailed analysis responding to the interests of the sponsor. In this analysis, reserve recruitment is addressed through a comparative analysis of full-time employed and student respondents to the survey. The characteristics and opinions of those interested in joining the Reserves are then explored in further detail.
