Abstract
A composite material analysis computer program CMAPP (Composite Material Properties Prediction), has been developed. CMAPP is capable of generating effective material properties for particulate, continuous fibre and platelet composites. Constituent material properties can also be generated from composite properties. A collection of eight micro-mechanical material models have been incorporated into the CMAPP model library. A hierarchial arrangement of menus is used to guide the user through the process of defining various material parameters, entering all necessary material data and displaying or storing results.
