Abstract
The drag loading (drag pressure) on a circular cylinder from an air blast wave (generated in a 3 foot diameter air blast simulator) was obtained from the elastic response record of a circular cantilever beam using the domain conversion method. Computed maximum strains using the obtained drag pressures were in close agreement with experimentally obtained values.
