Abstract
The paper provides an overview of select Future methods and techniques which have been developed, such as Delphi, Scenarios and Gaming, Cross-Impact Analysis, and Holistic Modelling; and assesses their utility for this type of analysis. It examines two specific approaches being used within DMOR for the assessment of fleet mix requirements. These are a scenario-driven apprach and a modified Delphi using the Analytic Hierarchy Process.
