- The study deals with ballistic missile proliferation in the developing world. First, It provides an overview of emerging missile forces, emphasizing indigenous programs and sources of supply. Second, it examines the strengths and weaknesses of the Missile Technology Control Regime. Third, it assesses the impact of proliferation on regional stability, presenting the Israeli-Syrian conflict as a case study.
