Abstract
The major objectives of this contract were to contribute to the DRES supersonic combustion program by: reviewing the current supersonic propulsion facilities and instrumentation; performing cost estimates for the above facilities and a combustion lab building; and modelling the dynamics a detonation-driven projectile. Work on the first two items resulted in a report submitted to DRES in December, 1991 whereas the modelling work produced two publications two conference presentations in Canada and France, and contributed to a patent submission.
