Abstract
This research note documents the quantitative analysis done in support of a request by the Assistant Deputy Minister (Personnel) (ADM(Per) to examine the impact of current and future reductions on the participation of female non-commissioned members (NCMs) in the Canadian Forces (CF). The report presents a comparative analysis by occupational group, examining historical trends of NCM demographics from 1984 tp 1994, take-up rates under the Force Reduction Program (FRP) by gender, and projections of female participation based on reductions forecast in the Projected Status Report (PSR).
