Abstract
Outlines the benefits and considerations that revolve around the use of (Multiple Beam Antennas) MBAs for Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) applications. It also presents one of the most commonly used MBA configurations. The design and selection of a satellite MBA system are limited by the fundamental limitations particular to each type of MBA system. Engineers are forced to make compromises between overall antenna performance and some of the design and physical constraints presented in this report.
