- Abstract
- The document describes the detailed desing for the interface between the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and the Testbed in the Space-Based Radar (SBR) Signal Processing Demonstrator (SPD). The SPD is a laboratory-based computer system for the demonstration and validation of SBR signal processing algorithms and real-time digital signal processing hardware. The signal processing demonstrator is organized into two principal subsystems: a DSP subsystem which implements selected signal processing configurations in real-time, and Testbed subsystem which controls and operates DSP. The purpose of this detailed design is to provide a concise definition of all data elements crossing the interface, their format, meaning and interpretation, and includes the software data type declarations that will be compiled with Testbed and DSP software.
