Abstract
This report describes the modeling and generation and realistic sea surfaces using state-of-the-art directional wave number spectra. Model details are explained and a preliminary investigation in nonlinear, non-Gaussian aspects is carried out. The surfaces so generated can then used as input in current radar scattering models to accurately predict sea clutter behaviour.
