Abstract
Describes the response to air blast loading of a fiber- glass blast door 65 inches long, 34 inches wide and 0.55 inches thick, complete with hinges and latches and supported by a steel frame along the edges through a neoprene gasket. The door was tested at incident overpressure levels of 13 and 27 psi in the DIAL PACK 500 ton free field blast trial and at the end of the six foot shock tube at incident overpressure levels ranging between 1 and 5 psi.
