Abstract
a-Radiolysis of cysteine-glutathione disulfide, the mixed disulfide of cysteine and the tripeptide glutathione, has been examined in unbuffered aqueous solutions. The results resembled those obtained using cysteine-cysteamine disulfide although the chain reaction appeared to be less efficient.
