Abstract
The report describes an evaluation of the Beaufort Mk2C Air Ventilated Suit worn under the Beaufort Mk10 Immersion Suit in alleviating the degree of heat stress experienced by CH-124 flight personnel. Tests were conducted in a conditioned room at temperatures of 65 F, 70 F, 75 F, 80 F and 85 F with a relative humidity of 85%. It was found that this clothing ensemble does not confer any protection from heat stress in these conditions.
