Abstract
An improved Operations Centre, the National Defence Command Centre, is required in the new National Defence Headquarters Building to act as the operational hub of the National Defence Command System. This report outlines human engineering advice provided during the design of the National Defence Command Centre in terms of (a) visual information (b) verbal communications management and (c) desk design. A new method is proposed for scheduling management for the airlift section.
