Abstract
A high oxygen potential species was observed on platinum in particulate free alkaline solution. Further observations are reported on the electrochemical behavior of a cell which gave 1.62 volts at 25oC. Attempts to repeat this high potential phenomenon are reported which use pyro distilled water in a box flooded with incinerated air.
