- Abstract
- Two forms of particulate filter for use in gas mask canisters have been designed, made and tested. Both forms avoid the operation of pleating the filter paper by using discs of paper punched in special shapes. Details are given of one form which is particularly simple in design and assembly. Its' filtration characteristics with respect to pressure drop and penetration are similar to those of filters currently in use in protective masks.
