Abstract
Circadian rhythm studies of the motor activity of mice were conducted on control data which were to be used in subsequent behavioral studies. A time series analysis, as well as a number of statistical tests, indicated that these data did not exhibit a significant periodicity with time. Consequently, it was concluded that gross and total motor activity does not follow a pattern discernible within the time frame of the study.
