- Abstract
- Relative noise-hazard risks were established for the career and trade classifications of the Canadian Forces. Based on the recorded hearing categories of 81,680 service personnel, five Noise-Hazard Groups (I to V, ranked respectively in order of increasing hazard) were devised, and the resulting population distributions within the groups permit risk assessments to be determined as a function of length of service in the Canadian Forces.
