Abstract
In very dry climates, both hot and cold, it is possible for a person to develop considerable electrostatic charge on his body. This will alter his potential relative to his surroundings, and in some situations may be hazardous. Generally, the person is unaware of his electrical state, and hence does not know when the hazard exists. To give warning to him, a small device has been made and tested. This will sound an audible alarm whenever the body of the wearer is greatly different in voltage from his surroundings.
