Abstract
A new arrangement has eliminated the dry bulb sensor and reduced the globe diameter to 1.65 inches without compromising the overall accuracy unduly. Discrete transistor circuitry has been largely replaced by operational amplifiers and more attention has been paid to the proper size of the wet bulb, to the stability of the regulator and to controlling heat conduction in the sensor diode leads. The taut-band meter has a hand calibrated scale and is protected against overload.
