NONCUBIC LOCAL STRUCTURE IN A Pr3+ - DOPED SeOCl2: SnCl4 SOLUTION

- Abstract
- The small number of components suggests that each ion interacts with a local field of high symmetry. Group-theoretical considerations are shown to lead to the conclusion that the local field consists of a cubic part of tetrahedral symmetry and a residual part of D2d symmetry.
